• module_name — letters, digits, _ and -. Without $MODULE the module is called NONAME; mstring -m name overrides it either way.
• extension — letters, digits, _ and + (hh, hpp, h++, cc).
• NOSOURCE is deprecated (a warning): it writes declarations without definitions. Use INLINE.

Options may come in any order; the last one about the same file wins. INLINE together with NOHEADER is an error.
